Holy Name's new travel medicine clinic provides easy access to vaccines for travel-related diseases such as yellow fever, cholera, and hepatitis A and B. Led by Dr. Suraj Saggar, Chief of Infectious Disease, the clinic is open Monday through Saturday and provides consultations via telehealth and in person.
"Vacations are a time to relax and enjoy a setting that is different from your usual – the last thing anyone wants is to get sick," said pharmacy manager Carla Goldberg, PharmD, CCP. "Staying up to date on vaccines that protect against local diseases can help prevent outbreaks and ensure you comply with foreign countries' entry requirements."
