Holy Name physicians recently performed this simple, trailblazing procedure – New Jersey’s first – to improve a patient’s blood flow. The Paradise® Ultrasound Renal Denervation (RDN) system uses ultrasound waves to interrupt the nerves responsible for raising blood pressure. It is a minimally invasive procedure that strengthens the renal arteries, which carry blood from the heart to the kidneys and are important to blood pressure.
