WHAT
Previously located in Teaneck at its original site adjacent to Holy Name Medical Center, Sister Claire Tynan School of Nursing now has its own modern, dedicated space on Hudson Terrace in Englewood Cliffs.
Holy Name's leadership team and staff will be joined by Senator Bob Menedez (D-NJ), other state and local officials, current nursing students, and alumni for the convocation and ribbon-cutting, which will be followed by a reception and tours of the school.
The school relocated to better accommodate students, who are preparing for today's complex healthcare environment. Students are taught to exercise clinical judgment that promotes safe and effective care, using state-of-the-art technology, traditional and online resources, and virtual simulation facilities, among other tools and techniques.
