Teaneck, NJ - The Hospice Department of Holy Name Hospital will sponsor a haircut-a-thon on Sunday, September 13, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Tantrum Salon & Boutique, 650 Union Blvd., Totowa, NJ. All proceeds will benefit the Villa Marie Claire Hospice. Need a back-to-school cut? A new, sassy do? A sporty guy look? Kids, women and men can enjoy a professional wash, cut and blow dry--all for a $25 donation. Raffle tickets will be sold for the chance to win valuable prizes, and lunch and refreshments will be provided by Il Classico and Nicola's Ristorante. No appointment is necessary; walk-ins are welcome.
The event is intended to raise funds and awareness for the Villa Marie Claire, Holy Name's new free-standing hospice facility in Saddle River, NJ. The Villa Marie Claire is a family-centered program, offering restoration of dignity and choice to individuals entering the transitional phase of life's journey, and is positioned to set a new standard for end-of-life care.
