Dr. Sharad Wagle and six other prominent Bergen County residents of Indian descent were honored with commendations from the County Executive and the Board of Chosen Freeholders at the Bergen County Indian Flag Raising Ceremony and Celebration commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Republic of India on January 26.
