Program to focus on diseases in the AfricanAmerican community
Teaneck, NJ — Holy Name Medical Center will present a community program in observance of Black History Month on Tuesday, February 28 from 7:00-8:30 PM. "Black History: What does it mean for disease risk?" will take place in the Marian Hall Conference Center of Holy Name Medical Center.
Jason Baynes, MD, HNMC Orthopedic Surgeon, and Robert Adair, MD, and Robert Harris, MD, HNMC Internal Medicine Specialists, will discuss diseases that are prevalent in the African American community, such as diabetes and prostate cancer as well as risk factors, screening guidelines and prevention.
