INTERNATIONALLY-RENOWNED PIANIST
TO PERFORM AT HOLY NAME HOSPITAL
Concert proceeds to fund breast cancer awareness initiative

Teaneck, NJHoly Name Hospital is holding a benefit concert for the Korean Medical Program's "Walk for Mom" on Thursday, March 12, 2009, 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the hospital's Marian Hall Conference Center.

Hai-Kyung Suh, a nationally-acclaimed piano virtuoso, is a breast cancer survivor and goodwill ambassador for the "Walk for Mom" campaign of Holy Name Hospital's Korean Medical Program. "Walk for Mom" is a walk-a-thon designed to build awareness of breast health among Korean-American women, for whom the number of new breast cancer cases has doubled over the past 10 years. The campaign focuses on encouraging women to follow guidelines for routine self-examination, annual mammography and clinical examinations. Last year, "Walk for Mom" raised $100,000 to provide free mammography services to 200 low-income Korean-American women, as well as follow-up procedures, such as ultrasound, biopsies and surgery.

Ms. Suh's repertoire includes the classical works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Brahms and Rachmaninoff. The Julliard School-educated pianist has toured as a recitalist in Germany, Australia, Japan, China and the US, appearing yearly at Lincoln Center, as she continues annual tours in Korea. She has performed with the world's most celebrated orchestras, appeared on television and radio, and is an established recording artist.

General admission to the "Walk for Mom" Benefit Concert is $100 per person, and includes a light dinner. Black tie is optional. Kindly R.S.V.P. to the Holy Name Health Care Foundation at 201-833-7143.
