The Holy Name Hospital Auxiliary held a gala reception on June 4 to invite prospective members to take up the cause. By the evening's end, more than 100 new members had joined the Auxiliary.
Featured speaker Pat Battle, anchor and New Jersey correspondent, WNBC News 4 New York and longtime Teaneck resident inspired those attending to raise their hands and "make a difference" by giving back to the community and joining the Auxiliary.
Guests enjoyed refreshments, entertainment and remarks by Ginny DeGreef, Holy Name Hospital Auxiliary President; Charles Vialotti, MD, Chief of Radiation Oncology and Medical Director of Villa Marie Claire Hospice; Jane Ellis, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations; and Jackie Kates, Community Relations Coordinator.
For more than 75 years, the Auxiliary has helped Holy Name remain at the forefront of the healthcare industry, raising tens of thousands of dollars in support of many projects including the general building campaign, the new Emergency Care Center, and the Villa Marie Claire Hospice in Saddle River.
