Holy Name Medical Center's Hispanic Outreach Program (HOP) hosted a wine-tasting fund-raiser at Son Cubano Restaurant in West New York on Monday, February 24 to support the outreach programs and services provided to the community. Over a hundred guests attended the event, which featured dozens of wines, Cuban-style hors d'oeuvres, music by Tres X Dos, and remarks by HOP Medical Director, Henry Fernandez-Cos, MD.
Event sponsors included: R&R Marketing, Inserra Supermarkets, Son Cubano, Bergen Anesthesia, North Jersey Imaging Center, The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Ibarria Media Group, Garantice Su Futuro, and Creative Bridge.
The Hispanic Outreach Program at Holy Name Medical Center was developed to create awareness of Holy Name's commitment to assuring the highest level of healthcare to members of the Hispanic community and, consistent with the medical center's ministry of healing, to providing services and programs in a culturally sensitive and caring environment. In collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals, the program offers information and referrals as well as educational programs, seminars, and preventative screenings at the medical center's campus and at off-campus locations for residents of Bergen, Hudson and Passaic counties.
