Physician Specialists will Discuss Advanced Developments
Teaneck, NJ - Holy Name Medical Center (HNMC) will present a panel of distinguished physicians to discuss advanced developments in lung cancer from the HNMC Regional Cancer Center and the Lung Center at HNMC on Tuesday, November 15 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Marian Hall Conference Center.
Stuart Silberstein, MD, pulmonologist; John Rundback, MD, interventional radiologist; Benjamin Rosenbluth, MD, radiation oncologist; Yadyra Rivera, MD, medical oncologist, and Ignatios Zairis, MD, thoracic surgeon; will discuss the latest screening methods available for early detection of lung cancer, the most current treatment options available and steps for reducing the risk of lung cancer.
Lung cancer is the second most diagnosed cancer in both men and women but is the number one cause of death from cancer each year. By the time of diagnosis, lung cancer has often spread to other parts of the body.
