Holy Name Hospital's Hospice Department recently held a Hair Cut-A-Thon at Tantrum Salon & Boutique, Totowa, NJ. The event was a success raising close to $5,000 for Villa Marie Claire, Holy Name's free-standing hospice facility in Saddle River, NJ. More than 20 salon staff members volunteered their time, performing 72 haircuts in four hours. Refreshments were provided by IL Classico and Nicola's Ristorante.
The Villa Marie Claire is a family-centered Hospice program, offering restoration of dignity and choice to individuals entering the transitional phase of life's journey, and is positioned to set a new standard for end-of-life-care.
