The Holy Name Health Care Foundation held its 15th Annual Holy Name Classic Golf Tournament on Monday, July 13 at the Hackensack Golf Club, Oradell, NJ and at the Arcola Country Club, Paramus, NJ.
The event was a success, with a turnout of more than 230 golfers and raising more than $290,000, which will benefit Villa Marie Claire, Holy Name's new inpatient hospice facility that will set a new standard for compassionate, end-of-life care for patients and their families. Villa Marie Claire will be the first dedicated free-standing inpatient hospice in Bergen County. "We are so pleased with the support of all of our donors," said Kevin McCarthy, master of ceremonies and Vice President, Development and Executive Director, Holy Name Health Care Foundation. "Through these gracious gifts we are able to make the Villa Marie a reality for the communities we serve."
The Holy Name Classic Golf Tournament offered both morning and afternoon shot-gun starts at Hackensack Golf Club and an afternoon shot-gun at Arcola country Club. The post-golf reception for all was held at the Hackensack Golf Club and featured cocktails, dinner, and awards.
