Hospice Training Sessions Feb. 1 and Feb. 8
Caring and compassionate individuals are needed for the Holy Name Hospice Volunteer Program. Men and women are needed in various capacities: Help patients and their families by offering companionship, conversation or light household help; assist hospice staff with clerical tasks at the office.
Interested persons should contact Janice Myers, MA, Chaplain and Volunteer Coordinator, (201) 833-3740, ext. 2766, to learn more about becoming a Hospice Volunteer and to attend hospice training sessions on Monday evenings, February 1 and February 8.
Holy Name Hospital serves terminally ill patients of all faiths, as well as their families, through home hospice care and in-hospital consultative support. Later this year, Holy Name will open Bergen County's first freestanding inpatient hospice, Villa Marie Claire, a state-of-the-art family-centered palliative care facility on a 26-acre estate in Saddle River.
