Holy Name MS Center to Hold Multiple Sclerosis Lecture

Holy Name Medical Center's MS Center will be holding an educational lecture on April 7, from 4 7PM at Holy Name's Marian Hall Conference Center. Keynote speakers will be Mary Ann Picone, M.D., medical director of the Holy Name MS Center and John Lincoln, MD.  Speakers will discuss the new therapies on the horizon for Multiple Sclerosis as well as information on clinical trials; new oral therapies in development for the treatment of MS; the use of MRI as an outcome measure; and the benefits of physical therapy and yoga.   The event is free of charge and open to the public.  Please call 201-837-0727 to register.  Refreshments will be served.  The program is sponsored by an educational grant from TEVA pharmaceuticals.

Holy Name MS Center offers comprehensive medical, nursing, physical rehabilitation, and support services for MS patients in one location.  The Center's staff consists of board-certified neurologists specializing in MS, registered nurses and clinical nurse practitioners, and social services professionals who assist patients and families coping with MS-related issues.
