Teaneck, NJ - Holy Name Medical Center's MS Center held its 13th Annual Spring Fashion Fling on Saturday, May 15, 2010 raising over $140,000. All proceeds will go directly to patient care and research at Holy Name's MS Center.
"With Holy Name's MS Center raising over $140,000 through its Annual Spring Fashion Fling, we are able to continue to provide outstanding care to thousands of patients and their families affected by multiple sclerosis," said Kevin McCarthy, Vice President of Development and Executive Director of the Holy Name Health Care Foundation. "2010 is a special year as Holy Name Medical Center celebrates 85 years of healthcare excellence and the MS Center commemorates 25 years of service to the community. The success of this year's Spring Fashion Fling is due in great measure to our dedicated sponsors, volunteers and patient community. We're fortunate to have their ongoing commitment to the MS Center."
2010 marks the 25th anniversary of the MS Center at Holy Name Medical Center with over 8,000 patients visiting the MS Center each year. Today, Holy Name's MS Center has grown to become the premier provider of multiple sclerosis-related healthcare in northern New Jersey. Internationally recognized for care excellence and a model for other centers worldwide, Holy Name's MS Center provides a wide range of multidisciplinary services to individuals with MS and their families, including diagnosis and testing, treatment, support, education, and the opportunity to participate in research studies.
As the 2010 Fashion Sponsor, NORDSTROM of Garden State Plaza provided all the fashions for the show, while Chris Cimino, WNBC-TV Meterologist, attended and served as Honorary Chairperson of the event.
