Teaneck, NJ - NJBIZ has ranked Holy Name Medical Center the top hospital in its 2010 "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" program, placing HNMC third on the overall list. Holy Name has achieved recognition on the list every year since the program's inception in 2005.
The survey and award program identifies and honors the 55 best places of employment throughout New Jersey in an effort to benefit the state's economy, its workforce and businesses, according to NJBIZ. Applying for recognition is a two-part process: First, the company is evaluated on its workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. Second, confidential surveys measuring the employee experience are distributed to a representative sample of the company's workforce. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.
Holy Name was formally recognized at the Best Places to Work in New Jersey awards dinner on April 22 at the Hilton East Brunswick. The Medical Center has a rich tradition in workplace excellence, with two consecutive awards for "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" by Modern Healthcare magazine and a new recognition this year from "Companies That Care, Honor Roll 2010."
