Holy Name Medical Center recently celebrated the expansion of its Regional Cancer Center with a ribbon cutting debut of a newly renovated floor, which is now home to spacious exam rooms featuring new technology and warm, modern design elements.
It marked the latest expansion to come to the cancer center. Back in March, Holy Name announced its partnership with Cancer Support Community, a nonprofit organization that provides free educational workshops and support services to anyone impacted by cancer.
"We are constantly looking for ways to improve the patient experience," said Dr. Raul Parra, medical director of the Regional Cancer Center. "At Holy Name, we approach it from every angle, whether it's recruiting high profile physicians and surgeons or investing in the latest equipment and technology. Our team is fighting cancer right alongside our patients, which is why we will continue to make investments in how we care for individuals and families affected by a cancer diagnosis."
