The Chinese Medical Program of Asian Health Services at Holy Name Medical Center is hosting a free health screening and seminar on autism spectrum disorders on Saturday, August 5 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Holy Name Medical Center, located at 718 Teaneck Road in Teaneck, NJ.
Prior to the seminars, the free health screening will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will include cholesterol (12-hour fasting required), Hepatitis B, A1C, blood Pressure, BMI, and bone density testing.
At 9:30 a.m., the seminars will begin. Keynote speaker Professor Sue X. Mind, MD, PhD will discuss autism spectrum disorders, environmental toxins, and potential treatment strategies. Following that, famed Chinese calligrapher and author Lewei Shang will tackle the topic of parental rights and responsibilities. Ms. Jing Leng will also provide insight and guidance on nutrition and diet.
