Northern New Jersey Community Bankers donates $2,000 to Holy Name Medical Center Foundation's Perinatal Bereavement Fund

The Northern New Jersey Community Bankers (NNJCB) donated $2,000 to Holy Name Medical Center Foundation's Perinatal Bereavement Fund. President and CEO of Bogota Savings Bank, Joseph Coccaro, presented the check. "On behalf of Northern New Jersey Community Bankers, we are proud to support the efforts of Holy Name Medical Center's Perinatal Bereavement," said Coccaro. The presentation was made at the NNJCB meeting on Thursday, January 31 at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack.

This donation will help underwrite the cost of Holy Name Medical Center's Pregnancy and Newborn loss bereavement services. The program helps surviving parents and family cope with the grief suffered at the loss of a loved one.

Services include:

• Spiritual/grief counseling
• Pregnancy and Newborn loss support group
• Referrals to community resources
• Walk to Remember - An annual event where parents, health professionals and friends across the United States join together in memory of their lost babies. Trees are planted in the "Garden of Remembrance." All families, friends, caregivers and professionals whose lives have been touched by a loss are welcome to attend this annual event in October.
