Holy Name Medical Center's Hispanic Outreach Program announces First Annual Golf Outing, Sept. 26

Teaneck, NJ - The Hispanic Outreach Program at Holy Name Medical Center is pleased to announce its First Annual Golf Outing to be held on Monday, September 26 at the New York Country Club in New Hempstead, Rockland County, NY (Palisades Parkway, exit 11). A dinner and awards program with open bar and entertainment will follow that evening at Meson Madrid Restaurant in Palisades Park, NJ.

This year's sponsors are Alamo Insurance, Bergen Anesthesia Associates, Pan America Pharmacy, Mesón Español Restaurant, Our Lady of Grace School, Inserra Supermarkets (ShopRite), PNC Bank, Wells Fargo, R&R Marketing, Creative Bridge Advertising, The Rebeka Verea Foundation, Termini Pizzeria, Villa Amalfi Restaurant, Tapas de España Restaurant, Sabor Restaurant, Son Cubano Restaurant, the Hematology and Oncology Partners from Holy Name Medical Center, and Meson Madrid Restaurant.

The Hispanic Outreach Program was developed to create awareness of Holy Name's commitment to the highest quality healthcare for members of the Hispanic community and, consistent with the Medical Center's ministry of healing, providing services and programs in a culturally-sensitive and caring environment. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, it offers information and referrals, as well as educational programs, seminars and health screenings at the Holy Name campus in Teaneck, NJ, and at off-campus locations for residents of Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties in New Jersey.

"We are extremely proud of our efforts in the community and look forward to the continued involvement of the sponsors and players who are helping make this event possible," says Dr. Henry Fernandez-Cos, Medical Director of the Hispanic Outreach Program.  "The Hispanic Outreach Program is an affirmation of Holy Name Medical Center's dedication to addressing the medical, cultural and spiritual needs of this population, and serves as the Medical Center of choice for members of the Hispanic community."

On September 26, the day's activities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with registration and a barbecue lunch; shot-gun start is at 12:30 p.m. Dinner, entertainment and awards will take place at Meson Madrid Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Openings for golfers and sponsorships are available until September 19.
