"An Evening In Buenos Aires" To Benefit Villa Marie Claire

Third Annual Event in support of Saddle River Hospice planned for September

The Campaign for Villa Marie Claire will present "An Evening in Buenos Aires," an evening of fine wine and food inspired by Argentina, on Saturday, September 22, at 7:00 PM at the Ridgewood Country Club.  Funds raised at the event will benefit Villa Marie Claire, a family-focused residential hospice and palliative care facility in Saddle River providing compassionate end-of-life care to people with terminal illness.

The Villa Marie Claire Benefit Planning Committee, chaired by Terrie O'Connor of Upper Saddle River, has been meeting for months to organize the event, which will raise awareness of the exceptional care offered at the Villa in addition to raising funds to provide care for those in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

"We are delighted that Mary Higgins Clark has agreed to serve as Honorary Chair of this very special evening," said Terrie O'Connor.  "And it has been a privilege and pleasure for me to work with the other members of the Benefit Planning Committee who have joined together, motivated by the Villa's compassionate, holistic approach to achieving quality of life for terminally ill patients and support for their families.  We all hope that many more members of our community will support the Villa through this event."
