Set on a 26-acre estate in Saddle River, NJ, Villa Marie Claire is a residential hospice like no other in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, and the first residential hospice in northern New Jersey. Everything about the Villa speaks to a profound belief that quality can be achieved at every stage of life, no matter an individual's medical diagnosis or physical and cognitive abilities. The Villa offers pain and symptom management, also called "comfort care," in an elegant, home-like ambiance in contrast to the sterility of a hospital or traditional clinical setting. The family-focused philosophy encourages participation by all members of the patient's support system (even pets), and overnight accommodations in the adjacent family wing are available to loved ones.
