Holy Name Joins Fiesta in America as Sponsor of Health-Themed Expo

Free Diabetes Screening and Presentation Will Be Offered

Holy Name Medical Center will provide health information and free diabetes screenings at "Fiesta in America," the East Coast's largest two-day Filipino indoor expo and cultural show. The medical center is sponsoring the health and wellness- themed event, which is scheduled for August 12–13 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.

The Filipino Medical Program staff will be on hand to provide attendees information about Holy Name's programs and services, including maternity care, cancer care, hospice care, breast health, Asian Health Services, the Center for Healthy Living, gynecologic oncology and radiology. Holy Name will also offer a diabetes screening, 12–3 p.m. at Conference Room A, followed immediately with a Diabetes presentation at 3 p.m. with a certified diabetes educator and a Filipino hospitalist.

Holy Name's Asian Health Services provides culturally-based amenities as well as programs to educate, screen and diagnose conditions that are more prevalent in the Asian community.
