Stronger Together Event to Empower Women through Self-Defense and Health Screening

Women are invited to attend "Stronger Together," a free event focused on women's health, motivation and empowerment. The Cancer Support Community of Holy Name Medical Center is hosting the event on Wednesday, January 24 from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM in the lobby of Westy Self Storage at 65 Commerce Way in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Holy Name gynecologic oncologist Dr. Maria Schiavone will discuss cervical cancer, one of the most common female cancers, screening recommendations, early detection, prevention, and treatment. The talk will be followed by an interactive self-defense class designed to promote a healthier, stronger sense of self.

Healthy food and refreshments will be provided.
