Jean Jordan Appointed Vice President, Oncology Services at Holy Name Medical Center

Holy Name Medical Center today announced the appointment of Jean T. Jordan, MPA, to the position of vice president of oncology services at the Patricia Lynch Cancer Center and Breast Center at Holy Name. "We are thrilled to have Jean lead our oncology services teams during an exciting time for growth," said Michael Maron, President and CEO of Holy Name. "Jean will be working closely with all members of the Patricia Lynch Cancer Center team, the Breast Center, our physician network, and other members of the medical staff to provide leadership, vision, strategic direction, and integration for Holy Name's continuum of oncology services. She will oversee all the Cancer Center's administrative and financial responsibilities with a goal toward expanding services and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality, safe, innovative, and compassionate cancer care."

Jordan held various positions on Memorial Sloan Kettering's senior management team, where she most recently served as senior director for the Department of Medicine in hospital administration.

With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, Jordan is recognized for her financial and operations savvy, as well as her commitment to meaningful change, diversity, and community service.

In addition to her positions at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Jean also held management positions at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers early in her career. She serves as a trustee for START Treatment and Recovery Centers, is a member of the Rotary Club of Passaic Valley, and has been involved with several other organizations, including Pi Alpha Alpha National Public Administration Honor Society, the American College of Healthcare Executives, Jersey Cares, Inc., and 10,000 Mentors/Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Essex County.

Jean earned her master of public administration degree in healthcare administration at Seton Hall University and her bachelor of arts degree in psychology at the University of Virginia.
