Jersey Promise and Holy Name Medical Center will hold a joint press conference on Wednesday, July 10 at 12:30 p.m. to discuss the release of a new report highlighting the needs of New Jersey’s underserved Asian Americans, which is the fastest growing racial group in the state.

Authors will report policy recommendations based on findings in the healthcare section of the report.

What

Jersey Promise co-founders Choi and Chen will discuss the launch of their policy, education and advocacy organization in 2018 and the development of the report, which is the first of its kind for this demographic in New Jersey. Healthcare section authors Choi and Dr. Kwon will discuss how public health agencies, private providers and community organizations can help close the health disparity gaps among this patient population.
