Holy Name Medical Center Unveils Creamer Family Physical Rehabilitation Center in Honor of Generous Donation from Creamer Family

Holy Name Medical Center recently unveiled its newly named Creamer Family Physical Rehabilitation Center, in honor of a generous donation from members of the Creamer family which, among other things, helped launch Holy Name Medical Center’s renovation of its operating rooms.

J. Fletcher Creamer, Jr., Glenn Creamer and Dale Creamer of J. Fletcher Creamer & Son Inc., joined Holy Name Medical Center’s president and CEO Michael Maron along with other staff for the recent debut and tour of the new center.

"This gift will have a tremendous impact on our mission to provide the highest level of safe, quality, affordable care to our community through prevention, education and treatment at The Creamer Physical Rehabilitation Center," said Michael Maron, president and CEO of Holy Name Medical Center.

"We now have the opportunity to invest in new technology, programs, and services that will enable us to maintain our reputation as one of the region’s leading providers of care," said Holly Schepisi, vice president of development and president of the Foundation.

Dale Creamer has served on the Holy Name Board of Trustees since 1996 and is also a member of the Holy Name Medical Center Foundation Board. He and the entire Creamer family have been longtime supporters of the medical center and its foundation.

"The Creamer Family is honored to be associated with Holy Name Medical Center for the past 20 years, as it is a pillar of the local community," said Dale Creamer. "We hope that this gift will allow Holy Name to continue as one of the State’s health care leaders."

The Creamer Family Physical Rehabilitation Center is a 8,850-square-feet state-of-the-art facility that is staffed with therapists who are trained in the industry's most advanced rehabilitation techniques for adult and pediatric patients. Current specialty programs include physical, occupational and speech therapy, sports medicine, and pediatric therapy, among others.

The Creamer family's generosity also supports a strategic plan to expand Holy Name's department of surgical services, which will be designed to accommodate a growing network of expert surgeons, new specialized surgical procedures, and an increased patient volume.
