About Me:

Dr. Paula Barcia-Pena is an attentive and capable OB-GYN based in Teaneck, NJ. She earned her medical degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid Facultad de Medicina in Spain. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Hospital Universitario La Paz, Spain.

Dr. Barcia-Pena is a part of Excelcare Medical Associates. She is a member of the Spanish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She speaks English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese fluently, which makes her widely accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. She received the Golden Apple Award and the Kenneth A. Kappy Award. Outside of her practice, Dr. Barcia-Pena enjoys travelling, skiing, scuba diving, and reading.

Dr. Barcia-Pena is  sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient's situation and adapts her consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns.
