About Me:

Dr. Alexandra Renzi is a board-certified and fellowship-trained thoracic surgeon. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, followed by her medical doctorate from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her dedication to excellence led her to complete a general surgery residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, followed by a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Northwell Health, with advanced robotic thoracic surgery training at Lenox Hill Hospital. She is a proud member of The Society for Thoracic Surgeons.

Dr. Renzi is committed to providing the highest level of care to her patients. She acknowledges that patients may feel overwhelmed when they first receive their diagnoses and makes it her focus to meet their needs with a personalized approach. Dr. Renzi believes in putting patients first and fostering open communication, ensuring they know that their well-being is her top priority. Her approach to patient care reflects her belief that each patient should be treated like family. This philosophy allows her to make a profound impact on the lives of her patients and their loved ones, going beyond surgery to provide holistic support throughout their healthcare journey.
