Dr. Nilesh Shukla is a gastroenterologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, colon cancer prevention and inflammatory bowel diseases. He performs colonoscopies, endoscopies, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to diagnose conditions such as Barrett's esophagus, bile duct stones, and cancer. He values the relationships with his patients and treats them with compassion, dignity, and respect, working in tandem with each person to educate and empower them in their health. The greatest reward of his work is seeing sick patients get better.
Dr. Shukla earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY and completed his residency at Strong Memorial Hospital – University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. From there, he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at New York University.
