Overview

Holy Name Medical Center is a Primary Stroke Center, as designated by The Joint Commission, the nation's leading healthcare evaluation and accreditation organization. The medical center treats strokes with clot-busting medications when necessary, and/or performs an emergency interventional surgical procedure called a thrombectomy, which removes a potentially damaging or deadly blood clot from a blood vessel in the brain.

TICI scale is a score that assesses the surgical treatment outcome and evaluates the restoration of blood flow to the brain. The percentage reflects the stroke patients with improved blood flow to their brain following surgical intervention at Holy Name Medical Center. 100%
