Our Minimally Invasive Approach
Our surgeons use minimally invasive (laparoscopic) and robotic techniques to treat your condition whenever possible, which promotes less pain, a faster recovery time, and fewer complications.
It can help to think of a robotic surgical system as another tool doctors use to perform minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures.
During robotic-assisted surgery, your doctor makes small incisions at the treatment site. Tiny surgical instruments attached to a robotic arm are inserted into the incisions.
Your doctor uses a robotic control panel to move the tiny surgery tools in a highly precise way.
Our general, gynecologic, thoracic, and urologic surgeons use the da Vinci Surgical System. Our orthopedic surgeons use the ROSA® robotic system from Zimmer Biomet for knee repairs and replacements.
