How it Works
- Stomach is divided into two parts: one, a small pouch about the size of an egg, and the other, a larger remnant section
- The pouch, which can now hold only a tiny amount of food, becomes the primary stomach and is connected directly to the lower small intestine
- Food flows through this new, primary stomach directly into the small intestine, bypassing the larger remnant section of the stomach
- This "new" digestive track reduces tolerance of weight-gaining fats and refined sugars
