Meet the Team

Villa Marie Claire offers a team of skilled healthcare professionals from various disciplines who work together to ensure all patients receive appropriate medical attention and compassionate care during this final stage of their journey. The team focuses on pain and symptom management so that all residents are comfortable and may find peace.

The staff is led by specialized physicians and advanced practice nurses and consists of medical, nursing and allied health professionals, including dieticians and physical therapists. They work in tandem with social workers, spiritual counselors and bereavement counselors trained in interfaith and multicultural traditions, offering sensitive, personalized care that honors every individual's faith path and cultural mores.

By incorporating physical, spiritual and psychosocial elements, Villa team members help make sure residents' wishes are realized. They also serve as valuable sources of information, support and comfort for loved ones.

Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team

Our interdisciplinary healthcare team is led by resident Medical Director Charles Vialotti, MD. Dr. Vialotti earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia College, his MD from NY Medical College and holds medical licenses in New York and New Jersey. With more than 47 years of experience, Dr. Vialotti's vast knowledge of palliative and hospice care allows him to offer a gentle hand and heart to patients and their families in their time of need.
